You can use a valid AutoPASS chip as a means of payment when traveling with us. There is also a manual solution for payment by debit card, credit card and cash.

NB! It`s not possible to pay with FerryPay or Epass24

If you walk or are traveling with bicycle you must board the ferry from car deck. Cyclists must get off the bike when entering the ferry.

All pedestrians and cyclists travels for free.

• For safety reasons, it is not permitted to stay on the lower car deck during the crossing on Bastø I and Bastø II. It is allowed to stay in the car on the upper car deck on the mentioned ferries. On our three newer ferries Bastø IV, Bastø V and Bastø VI, there is only one deck where passengers can stay in the car.

   

• Travelers who, for health reasons, need a special placement of the vehicle on board must drive through the manual box office. Then we can ensure that you get in the right lane so that you get close to the elevator or that you can stand on the upper deck and stay in the car. It is possible to pay with AutoPass in the manuel box office as well.

No. Pre-booking is unfortunatly not possible. 

Children over the age of 10 can travel alone. Children under the age of 10 must travel with a person who has reached the age of 16. However, we point out that the crew has many tasks in terms of traffic flow and safety. A system has not been established to take care of children traveling alone. This is important to think about if you are considering sending the child alone by ferry. If there are groups / school pupils / kindergartens, there must be one companion per. 6 children under 10 years, and one companion per. 10 children between 10 - 16 years.

Yes, we have our own room on board where you can sit with your pet. Animals travel for free.
